a feather torn from a wounded sparrow


trapped in the current of winter breeze




sundered by the hands of mother nature
released

then falls to pieces

The author's comments:
a sparrow symbolizes creativity and simplicity. the feather of a sparrow shows that i am a piece of that. the feather then gets carried away from whom it belonged, losing sense of who it was. the pain that it goes through is caused by its environment, a pain that is inflicted upon it by outside forces. it breaks apart, and inevitably becomes who it is. Vauge, yet a very precise definition of myself.
