What I Have Said

I lay awake in the middle of the night,
and stare at the depths of nothing,
wondering what may have caused this fight,
and why you are so un-trusting,
I am fighting to make sense of where it went wrong,
and at the same time,
fighting to stay strong,
I just want this to go away,
I wanna hold you with me today,
I wanna show you how much it means,
to know that you are in love with me,
please give me a chance to make this work,
don't let my cries be unheard,
don't let this be all that I have left,
because all I have is what I have said.
