Mask your pain,
like you're going insane.
Conceal your fears,
like dried up tears.
You lie,
like I cry.
You feel relief,
like I feel grief.
You cause issues,
like I go through tissues.
You rape the truth,
like my twisted youth.
You hurt my chest,
like mom at her best.
You are crazy and wild,
like me as a child.
Through a person you look,
like the wrong pathway I took.
You are a stranger,
like I am to danger.
You stand next to survival,
like I compete with my rival.
