Being Sane

Are you sane?
What is evil? What is good?
What is normal? What is weird?
Who tells you what is
Evil or good?
Normal or weird?
Your parents?
The police?
No one.
It is as simple as left and right.
When you stand you have your left and right.
Turn around, you have another left and right.
Each is different.
Which is correct?
Is it North or South?
Is it East or West?
It is nowhere.
It is everywhere.
So I ask you again,
Are you sane?

Reminds me of a saying of my Mom's favorite aunt, who she gave me part of my name after: "I'm not weird, it's just everyone else."
Who knows they might be right or they could be horribly wrong.
You might be the only "sane" one.
But really those that set the boundaries for sanity is another human. Just a really long thought.
