On the morning of a tuesday,
a little bundle of joy came to our life.
So cute and precious, not even a knife
can break the bond we had.
Wrapped in a blue blanket did he
lay.
Joy and laughter came but soon much was not
heard of what was to bring the day.
For just only a short time did he stay,
for each minute and second counted till
your time came to an end.
I didn't understand why or then, but indeed,
your time was a now and then.
As we all looked at God's Gift to us in each persons
arms, it showed how wonderful God's miracles
and Blessings were bestowed upon us.
We named you that following week,
and surely it was meant to stay.
But your day had came, for there was nothing
to say.
As mother and father grieved, I did too.
Not just for a lose of my brother, but the joy I had
to have seen you.
And hold you.
Though you may have not heard me on Earth,
you did back at home.
This baby brother, i will cherish, I will hold.
Now the days seem off since you have left.
For one day with us has seem like a lifetime
in the making.
We cry not just for the lose but of healing and of joy.
Many that knew you were here were so glad but also
in fear.
I miss you CGH, for your name is in my heart.
You are in my class ring, the blue gem that represents the brotherly bond i have for you.
You will be missed dearly....
I can say that there is more to come and soon there will be another little one.
But this won't mean I'll forget because you were mommy's first and my first baby boy.
Dad is healing and will as with all of us.
I love you lil bro, I do.
RIP CGH, for we have gained an Angel.
An Angel to gain.
