Favorite Quote:
Everyone's childhood is filled with photographs, tears and memories. The pictures will fade, the tears will dry, but the memories will stay with you forever.

When we were younger…everything was better.
We would laugh, run and play
without a care in the world.
Everyone was always around…because we were each other’s family.
We were invincible.
Nobody ever realized that someday, we wouldn’t be so close…
And that we would drift apart.
Drifting apart…
Not even knowing what was happening, and just wishing.
Wishing that things could be like they were before.
This wasn’t how things were supposed to turn out…
We were supposed to be close forever,
And always be there for each other.
But life has a funny way of changing our plans,
And just leaving us with our tears and a handful of old pictures
And memories.
Memories that we wish weren’t just memories.
It kind of breaks my heart to say thing like this,
But it’s just impossible to mend,
I guess all good things do come to an end…

I just wrote this poem because I was reminiscing about how great my childhood was, but how much everything has changed since then. I hope you enjoy it, and sorry if it was too depressing!
