My eye color is brown
And one of you has it too
Although “just” brown
At first glance
There are a million differences
Between my eye …
And yours

I have light brown eyes
Some say it’s not brown
Some say its hazel
Most say it’s ordinary…
Common

I say it’s brown
But In The Whole I am agreed with
But I do know
Out of all this uncertainty
That my eye color is different

One pigment of color less
One pigment of color more
Your color and my color
Will never be the same

Blinded by the norm
Our eye color is put into categories
No bother to look closer
To see the reality

My eye color is unique
And so is yours
It may seem ugly, beautiful or plain
But it will never be ordinary

this is a metaphor as how we all differ and are unique, which is not a bad thing!!!

I liked it. I would maybe put a bit more into describing what the color looks like and what else lies in the brown color. Also, I believe no ones eyes are the same because people see different things and their eyes may determine who and what they see and may therefore determine how they live their life in the future. People's eyes are a window into their soul. I believe thats part of why no ones eyes are the same: no ones lives are the same. I think you could use this well in this poem if you chose, but its up to you and its fine as it is! Good luck!
