Always Hope

When all seems lost
And there is nothing you can do
When everyone wants to give in
Instead of fighting
When dreams are things of the past
And the children don’t play
And the adults just hide
And no new ideas are had
When it’s all over…
Hold on to hope
Keep your dreams close
And don’t give in
Because even in the bleakest moments
There is always a chance
Always, there is hope

The author's comments:
The world, at times, is a dark and dreary place, but to try and live through it without hope is equivalent to torture.
