open your eyes,

do you see me, all dressed in navy blue, the sun beating down on me, and one hundred other something people.

i step, and take a seat, all eyes in the audience focused on us, and the years we've over come.

you say you care now, that everything you did, well its a mistake.

im really sure you learned from this mistake.

just like the other times, when you didnt learn from those.

you say you miss me, and they way i always held my arms open,

ready for the time

when youd fall to the floor

and id have a glue gun in my hand, prepared to glue together every little piece

of your life back together.

what about the time,

every single time,

i tripped over your mistakes,

slammed my hands on the floor,

slipped on tear puddles,

and broke.

you never had a glue gun in hand

ready to help me back up.

you wont see me,

im out of chances

and you, my friend, are out of luck.

so let me walk,

the tassles over my eyes,

the sun beating down on me

and one hundred other something people.

let me hold myself high,

and be engulfed in the memories of you

i never had.

i wont be looking back

to whatever happened.

the past is shattered away,

and i lost my glue gun

somewhere on a dead end road.
