What is it you do for me
That I don’t do for you?
Do you save me from skies of gray
But I not you from seas of blue?

You travel ‘cross the flaming roads
To save me from myself
But when I do the same for you
You turn to someone else

You go and say that you are true
But you are one to lie
For I am here to stop you now
And give a last goodbye

The author's comments:
Many people thought this piece was inspired by my first love. This is incorrect. This piece was inspired by all of the people who have loved without having it returned. It was written for the man or woman who falls in love, only to watch their love walk away. It's a piece of solemn mind and heart, but even so, it's a piece of hope. Despite its sad tone, the poem sets a mood of strength and rising above the heartaches of broken love. It's a piece that is a ballad to the souls of the wise.

I strongly agree with zombiegurls comment. That poem really did contain so much feeling. It engulfed you in it. Bravo, I think that is a skill alot of poets try to master but can't, and you really did.

i belive this peice it turly grate

i enjoyed it
