feel the burn
Red rides thru my blood
He was better than me at football
He had a starting spot from day one
Red rides thru my blood
Red. Can’t explain the hate felt Joe
Red resides in my body
I had to work my a** off to play
And it was just given to Joe
What made it worse is that he’s a red head
Red ripples all around me
Joe was bigger and better
This made the hatred build up
It made a fire burn in my body
Or it could have been heartburn
Red radiates off of me
Our first game Joe missed a tackle
I could have layed that kid out
But no im stuck on the sidelines
Red robs me of playing time
I hated having to watch from the sidelines
But after a while the red grew out of me
And it turned to green
Nowadays Joe and I are good friends
