Your Eyes
Your eyes,
they follow me.
As haunting as the Mona Lisa.
Your eyes are there,
everywhere I go.
I wish I could stop seeing them,
always watching me.
But my wish can only come true,
if I stop dreaming about you.
Even if you aren’t the usual Romeo.
There’s a different fire about you, that I miss.
If only you could look into my soul,
see how much you’re missed.
I’m like a little girl,
waiting for Christmas.
I just want you to be there for me,
through thick and thin.
Anything to be with you again.
I thought I had found the one,
To make me feel special.
To make me feel needed.
To make me feel like the girl of your dreams.
So step up and be a man.
I know you can.
But, please,
don’t break my heart again.
So what do I mean to you?
Help me understand,
let your feelings out.
Even if only to me.
Because every time I see you,
you’re happy and free,
until you look at me.
Figure out what you want to do.
All I ask is
just tell me soon.
I wish you could tell me.
I wish it was true.
I wish you could say,
all I need is you.
You’re going to get sick,
if you keep doing this.
Just say you love me.
Tell me again.
