I’d Walk a Mile For

I’d walk a mile for
all the hurting people in the world.

I’d walk a mile for
the hungry.
To give them food,
if even for just a day.

I’d walk a mile for
the sick.
Make them better,
so they can help others.

I’d walk a mile for
the broken.
Piece by piece,
put them back together.

I’d walk a mile for
the homeless.
Give them somewhere warm to stay,
where they can sleep in peace.

I wish they would do the same for me.
