My soul sinks
When these wounds fail,
I’ll be six feet under
Deeper into your chest
Praying with the rotting words
That you left with me to hold
You never meant a thing you said
When these wounds fail,
My hear will turn cold
You pull me deeper into the cavity of your empty heart
Black,
From your hypothermia
It’s so cold
When these wounds fail,
I’ll be standing still
Pulling myself out
Standing tall
I can escape
Without a fall
You won’t pull me down
When these wounds fail,
Never again
I’ll begin my life
Without you in sight
All over again
