Soemthing New
When I lay in my bed, I think about you.
I get the butterfly feelings.
I get giddy.
There’s not a minute of my day where I am not thinking about you.
There is so much more.
These feelings aren’t what I’ve felt before.
I know many people say this every day,
But baby when I say it, you know I must be feeling something.
When I wake in the morning, I dream I am waking up to your face.
When we hug, I try not to let go.
I love that feeling of our bodies pressing upon each other.
This is something new to me.
I am not sure what we do, and how we do it.
I know your thoughts are the same.
It’s a little work and time.
We will make this right and perfect.
Not everything is perfect, but it’ll be perfect for our definition of perfection.
