Exhausted
On a frequent occasion
I wake, and feel
Like I had just run the marathon
On those occasions
The day,
Drags…
Slows down with every minute
Moving like a tired turtle
At its slowest pace
It seems as if the school
Moves…
Ahead,
And I have to try to keep up
Like a master controlling his puppy
But then I fall behind
Again…
And again.
Then as I dose off and become oblivious,
The screens walk
Further…
And further,
Away
Until everything becomes dark
And I dream that I hadn’t
Let my computer persuade me
To stay up
For,
Hours…
And hours.
