A girl traveled alone in the forest

But she wasn't really alone-

She had the trees and the leaves

Danced along with her

To the sound of the wind.

Alone in the forest she walked.

And on that journey she spotted a cabin

And as much as she wanted to touch it-

To feel the rough, coffee surface,

To graze the cool surface of the wooden ridges-

She did not.

For the silence was peaceful

And to knock on that door would shatter it.

A girl walked alone in the woods,

Blessed with the prescence of the Earth.
