Our Fake Friendship
I thought we were friends.
I guess were not anymore.
We had such good times together. Now you act as if I never existed. You ignore me in the hallways.
I try to talk to you,
but you look away.
Am I not good enough for you?
What did I do to make you not like me?
Did my words not come out right? Now I realize,
our kind of friendship was all fake.
Why didn’t I realize sooner?
I know now we were never friends. We will never be.
Now I act as if you meant nothing to me.
You’re not good enough for me,
I’m not good enough for you.
Our fake friendship,
made it be.
