Has our society come to?
Face lifts.
Liposuction.
Tanning beds.
Fake.
Why?
What ever happened
To inner beauty,
To loving yourself,
The way you are?
Why can’t we learn,
That we don’t need to starve ourselves
To be beautiful?
Why can’t we see,
That we don’t need make up
To be pretty?
Why can’t we discover,
That our imperfections are beautiful?
We try to create perfection,
But why can’t we realize,
That the only perfection in this world,
Is the beauty of imperfect?
