It just came out of my pencil
A brilliant flurry of sparks
Like a firework on the Fourth of July

And it morphed to a blob of burning embers
A furious Fire-Monster
Glowing and groaning in the air

Again, the creature transformed
Liquefying into lava
Bubbling and overlapping, swirling around my head

Then, the lava became another beast
A devilish, demonic beast
Hissing and spitting and thrashing about

Suddenly, it changed again, dramatically
To a pure, white angel
Singing, golden voiced, a song of victory

Mid-song, the angel also re-shaped
This time into a princess
Terrorized by a fire-breathing dragon

The dragon screamed, and out burst flames
A furious Fire-Monster
Which then collapsed in a pile of ash

And it all came out of my pencil.
