The sweet aroma of the pine needles scrapes across the tip of my nose
The crunch of the debris beneath my feet assures me that I'm no doubt walking with nature
The cold weather pierces my ear lobes and turns my face beat red
The day that seems so cold and miserable is just a peaceful walk with nature

The quite confidence that I have about harvesting an elk gleams through the forest
The rugged but amazing sound of an elk bugle echo's through the forest
The heart starts beating
The feelings of cold and miserable quickly leaves the body as the adrenaline warms everything
The camo makes you one with the forest
The ever so elusive elk cautiously creeps towards the call, they truly are the ghost of the forest
Silence
Heart beating
Birds chirping
Hands shaking
The elk is gone
The unexpected roller coaster of emotions proves to be just another walk with nature
