Angel With a Human Face

Didn't know that I was lost
Never needed to be found
Held hostage by this crazy thing they call life
Moving in slow motion
Can't seem to keep up
The world spins faster and faster
And I collapse
I lye in a heap upon the ground
Tears hit the pavement
But slowly I am lifted up
By arms so strong and comforting
They make the tears disappear
And the world slows down
I have been saved
By my angel with a human face
