Favorite Quote:
"Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words." -Edgar Allen Poe

Those that have seen sorrow for real
keep it concealed.
Nobody wants to burden the blind.

What we thought was the world started doin' cartwheels.
We saw the place where our souls are refined.

Never wanted
to feel as much as this feels.

Fast rain
Cold steel

We must never let our friends stay confined.

The author's comments:
Inspired by an old friend who took his own life. I had not spoken to him since 2nd grade. I found out through the obituaries in the newspaper. His name was Brady, he was an incredible snowboarder, even in 2nd grade.
