Screams.

One thousand screams for one thousand pairs of listening ears
One thousand screams for one thousand averted eyes
One thousand screams for one thousand heads hung low

Nothing was done
Nothing was said
Their own lives placed on their hands
A movement would cause stumbling
An action could cause a fatal fall
Stillness, was the only safe route

Eyes could be closed
Mouths could be shut
But ears could only be open

Open they stayed, inviting the sorrowful sounds in

Screams of pain

Like sharp stones, they pierced the soul of any kind heart

Cries of unspoken misery

One movement could stop it
An action could change it all

Motionless

all stood.

Very profound. I love the dark mystery of the poem. Though I have no idea what you're talking about, thats the beauty of it. You are really talented.
