Night's Secrets

Poison touchers her lips,
A warm feeling bubbles in her stomach.
Crazy thoughts, asinine feelings,
At dusk, all revealed.

Day in, day out - superficial prattle,
but as night creeps around,
those suppressed lies,
find an escape route.

Hammered words into innocents' heads.
Meaningless, yet pivotal.
What one might toss forgetfully,
another will remember perpetually.
