Deep Within Me
I am unique
I wonder why killers survive on this earth
I see the silent people standing quietly in the center of a loud group
I want to be sitting on a beach with my grandpa to get the last few moments with him
I am creative
I pretend like I am always somewhere I have never been
I feel emotions when people talk
I worry that I will be alone in the future, waiting to die with no one by my side
I cry about nightmares of my family
I am strong
I say “life is not about how many breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.”
I dream that I am far away from everybody and civilization, on my own
I know that there is pain and suffering in the world
I am special in my own way.
