I'm not good at titling
When I gaze into the night sky
I think of your face and I stare into your eyes
I never noticed the way they shine in the morning light
But I do now
My heart skipped a beat on our first day
I thought back to it and I can still feel it today
What I felt when I met you
Is what I’m feeling now
I wish it was different, maybe not so profound
But soon I’ll get over this
We’ll be never-ending friends
And a whole new story will begin
In the book of our lives
We’ll turn the page
And ink away at the blank space
