Fall scatters its warmth in color.
red and orange leaves drifting,
falling, floating, and blowing.
In the breeze they are sifting.

As the Fall’s cool breeze
tousles the child’s hair,
the father rakes leaves into piles.
And Fall’s breath pushes the pair.

The child jumps in the
leaves, sending them flying.
Fall swirls the leaves,
leaving the smiling father sighing
