“What will Happen?”
Not knowing can be exciting and fearful like
A suspenseful book, the creepy house,
a Horror movie, a brand new pencil ready for a math test,
A ringing phone, ambulances, caution tape,
the new tie for a job interview,
a baseball tryout, a deep gash, prison,
a dinner reservation, the ring, forever?
Did you make the team?
The aftermath is either relief
Or just another bad day.
