I tell others
be confident
be strong
don't let them put you down.
Why can't I do it myself?
My parents don't know me.
They would
kill me if they
knew.
But it's better this way.
No judgement.
Peace,
Almost.
You will know soon enough, mother;
that you won't be able to
set me up with that
boy that's 'good for me',
because he's not.
I love her, but I can't tell you.


Someday you'll know mother,
Someday.

I wrote this as an English assignment, and decided to share it with people. I love to write, it's my escape. Say what you'd like, but I love my work. Thank you for taking your time to read it. It means a TON!
