I Lied

I see the scars
And know
How weak I once was
And how weak I still am
I lied
I drop the blade
And swear to be strong
But I lied
I leave it lay
As I walk away
But I lied
I look at you and promise,
"I won't cut again."
But I lied
If you look
Into my eyes
You'll know
How I've lied
You stop me on the street
And ask
"Did you cut again?"

"I didn't cut again."

nope!this poem is based on a real life experience. most of the things the person mentioned sed was sed by my bestie and i feel horrible about lying about it. i just hope he doesnt ever read this poem i coudnt stand losing his friendship.
