Untitled 1
Every night I free my mind, to the outside light
Watching planes pass by, through the heart of the sky
Thinking this is my moment, for life
The one opportunity I got,
To be anything I want, to seize everything I need
But like everyone, it’s the exact same differently
As we fall into place so easily, we lose ourselves so aimlessly.
Truth’s place in our heart becomes space less
When you find yourself in a foreign place
With a simple state of mind, oblivious
To the strife you’ve created.
And you say you’re taking the scenic route
As you feel yourself drowning, so deep in doubt
Of what could have been
But you lost it.
