I wonder how it feels
Your lips on mine that is.
I wonder how that feels
Your lips on my ear to be exact;
Tingle in my spine,
No clue why things go the way they do
But honestly,
How much of a relief it would be
If a female was to actually be the one to make the first move?
The result of that would be me saying, “Checkmate!”
Good move
But in reality,
I won.
This feeling of victory
Same as when our lips collide,
Delicious rather than stale,
To be enjoyed.
Passionate rather than disastrous,
Slow and to the point,
Proper and not awkward,
Innocent with a sense of being devious,
Intimate but not inadequate,
My idea of the perfect kiss.

A poem written based on personal experience with a certain love interest with a very descriptive twist.
