Too Young to Die
Harder and harder it is to breathe,
as dark grey smoke replaces the air.
Large red hot flames rise.
Young souls become more terrified.
Crawling, walking, or running,
it doesn’t matter how,
as long as the children find their mother.
Sirens screeching, lights flashing,
and cheers being heard.
Help has arrived.
Climbing up ladders,
climbing through windows,
firefighters come to risk their lives.
Anything is done to help the children.
They are too young to die.
