Puzzles of This World
Life can be a painting
Perhaps a dark night is the first scene
Or just a flaming mob of people being mean
The confusion blotting out pixels
But when an artist picks up the brush
It’s a lot less complicated than life
The audience watches in a hush because in this picture,
The artist controls strife
So the empty canvas beckons
And the heart reckons
Swaying hammocks are catapulted
Shimmering ponds in position
Children relaxing in the grass
Glimmering sunshine streaming through
Appetizing apples aloft a tree
Laughing little laughter loop around
Yet, real life is not that different
It’s. better.
