The Little Red Wagon
Sweet summer air, silent and still
A mothers cry filled my head with the worst thoughts
A boy
A police officer
A medical examiner
What used to be a boy full of life, was lying on the ground
still, with all vibrancy escaping from his body.
A red wagon flipped over faced down next to the body
battered and destroyed, by the sudden struck of a car.
