Story of a Sun
March 23, 2011
The sunset fell to a
mountain peak tonight,
the iced caps shimmering
in the evanescent relief
of a dimming sky.
And when the falling sun
flattered the moon's newborn
reflection, it softly kissed the
surfacing
palette of stars good night,
caressing the darkness
with the peace
of a thousand silences
until the dawn painted the sky
once more.
