I think I actually used to 'love' you
Now I'm not all that sure
You get mad at me

No matter what I do
We fight and yell
Our love was once so pure

The way you look at me
The way I look at you
It feels like I'm taken up by the ocean's swell

I wish it could be like it was
No more of all these games
My longing for those days

Those days our eyes would meet
We knew our love was right
Now I sit here on this seat
Looking up into the night

I know right now
That things things will never be
Like it was
