That September Day
On that September Day the world stopped turning;
We stopped and watched
At the blink Of an eye,
The planes flew by.
As New York started burning,
The Twin Towers were there for the moment.
We stopped and stared;
We cried and we knelt,
As the victims were helpless
We remembered their laughs and their smiles
We watched their lives go,
Even though they didn’t live long,
Their memories will always be in a song;
For the radicals that did this,
Do they really need forgiveness?
In less than an hour,
We realized the power.
Four sites were torn up,
Many lives were lost,
As the Twin Towers fell down.
