Frozen Black Mourning
Frozen. Black. Mourning.
Life is frozen, and has been for a very long time
Time passes
One tries to move forward but cannot help but look back
An abyss of blackness covers the soul
As well as the very inner workings of ones mind
The mourning never ceases to exist
It is forever day in, and day out
Regret
What could have been done to fix this
What could have been done to help with that
Every once and a grand while in this frozen black mourning
The bright rays of the warm light come through
And for a moment, even if it’s just for a moment
I can forget and just be happy
But the frozen black night soon comes
For the light cannot last forever
And it pulls me back into my eternal mourning
I hide my tears and sorrow in a shadowy black veil that covers the face
In this way, all who are around me will not be troubled by my tears
For this never ending road I walk through is something I must do alone
I walk through a vortex abyss, in this frozen black mourning
