Paint me real.
Paint me with tears streaming down my face. Without the plastered smile. Without the glossed eyes.
Paint me with a broken heart. Shattered in a million pieces. Always trying to put itself back together again.
Paint me in the rain. The thunderclouds overhead, a downpour of sorrow, splashing against my curls.
Paint me not as I am seen on the exterior. Paint me not as I am perceived. Paint me real. As I am.
