Please forgive me

God please forgive I have sinned
What I did doesn’t make me grin
It makes me put down my chin
It isn’t thin

It puts me in shame
As I am to blame
This isn’t fame
But all out shame

I hate my brain
It is like a train
With no brakes

Will god forgive my sin
And finally make me grin
And raise my chin
Without feeling shame
Or blame
