Lazy Pollution
We are the enemies to ourselves, all this talk
Where does it go, not anywhere I can see
All you posers, hypocrites
No one likes you, its your fault too.
We all make mistakes
But this one wont be easy to fix
The desire is there, if only I could act upon it
Outside is calling, the sun gleaming
But the couch is under me and not going anywhere
Looking at two different screens, different pictures
But the fake glow and the smashed pixels of both
Satisfy me more than fresh air could
Only until the conversation rolls off my tongue
“I want to go outside, let’s turn the TV off’
The hypocrites are shown, myself among them
If only I could do what I say, reduce, reuse, recycle
The world would be the best.
