When the sun,
was beginning to rise.
Kids went to the school,
to look forward to the surprise.

In class there was a party,
but didn't seem ready.
The teacher rushed,
but didn't seem to notice the time.

Students waited outside,
but the door was locked.
They wanted to go inside,
but scared of the dark.

Suddenly the door unlocked,
and the teacher got shocked.
Students looked up,
and became unfrightened.

They went in,
and looked around.
Their mouths dropped open,
and wandered around.

They were surprised,
and looked at the teacher.
Go on kids she said,
don't be shy.
