Here’s to finding euphoria
My dreamland, my home—
The place where I belong.
My kingdom, my palace—
Where everything is ruled by me.
My escape from reality.
I’m sick and tired.
Sick of my complacency—
My voluntary abidance of
Your despotic tyranny—
Tired of your disrespect—
Your relentless barrage
Of derogatory belittlement—
I want to recover.
Recover from my life—
My life of delusive promises
Shattered by your unwillingness—
My life of broken dreams—
A stone thrown at a mirror
Reflecting my cracked image—
I want to leave.
Leave all my things behind—
Turn my back to this maliciousness
Start all over from the beginning
Have another chance to live
The life I’ve always dreamed of.

While having a bad day, I sat down to write. All my emotions condensed into verse-- that's the beauty of poetry.
