Sklaven der Zeit
In the dark,
We hide our savage thoughts
With precautions.
Not fully aware of the dangers
That lurk somewhere deep
Within the deepest tarnish
Covered steel gates of imprisonment.
Just a simple challenged child.
Grown up into the dangerous
Teen, full of bloody and terrifying
Thoughts of homicidal depression.
Hiding there pain, into suicide attempts.
But still they lock them up
With chains and stone chiseled
Name tags that mark there number.
They’re not a person but an object
Of self inflicting mortification.
Slaves of time.
So they stay in the dark,
Hiding there savage thoughts
With precautions of self
Empathizing pity.
