The Ocean
The beach is such a familiar place.
We had fun, just me and you and the ocean so blue,
The white hot sand, the crash of the waves.
Sand crabs and castles and holes in the ground,
Shovels and buckets made my world go round.
The waves were made for us to play,
We had our boards, just me and you and the ocean so blue.
My mom and your sister, she watched from the distance.
The sweet salty smell of the wild waters,
The seaweed and jellyfish that are all around.
