Snow white roses litter the ground
Children’s tears reap the fresh dirt mound
Allow a child to give up his life
Give him a gun and call it his right
Protecting our country, let freedom due reign
Then blow it to bits and let your people be slain
Call it a fight, and call it a need
Shed the most blood and say we succeed
Snow white roses litter the ground
White doves released, their shadows show black on the mound
Supposedly create a newfound grace
Settled differences, a more peace filled place
Create new turmoil for the ones that we love
Rational thinking we’re long void of
You fight and you lose, you fight and you win
Does it matter to the ground the innocent lie in?
Snow white roses litter the ground
Life is meaningless when there’s peace to be found
