Drowning in teal petals.
A brush of the ocean, a wave or two.
A splash of mustard, smeared in disarray.
A single line, dark with envy.
Smear your colors over me; muted I shall be.
Melted I shall stay.
Melted like a piece of ice fixed from filthy puddle water.
Pungent liquid; I shall become.
Petals drop, one by one, until the rain stings the skin once again.
