Gone astray to a broken bridge
Letting my mind wander and my legs dangle
Fighting the urge to drop below
Temptation overwhelms my frigid limbs, numb with pain
One step away from the end
A wicked thought pushed to the cliff's edge
Ready to force out the life,
Stomp out the jealousy, take out the spark
Steady for just a single moment
Alive and breathing for once in my life
Make the death blow quietly away
Take my dreams into a jar, securely closed
Slip into the ice of another place
Leave this cruel world with one more word
Forget the past and the future
Live in what they believe is the present
Suck in the last breath, LIFE
Exhale...and jump because this is the beginning

I wanted to step in the shoes of somebody who couldn't take it anymore and what they would do when they were taking their last breath,thinking their last thought.

Your welcome. I've had some hard times in life lately but not like that...but it has a personal touch to it and I like that a lot.

Thanks:) I'm hoping to go into a career of this so yeah I'll be doing a lot more writing

Thank you!!! I tried to make it as real and deep as possible. Like I said I've never been through something like this but I can only imagine.

this is very good and i, being someone who often thinks this way, think u have captured the thoughts perfectly. life gives us many hard times but i am happy to say that i personally am glad that i was/am able to make it through everyday without taking my thought's actions and i hope nobody has to go through this, though i know many do.
